Well….that’s one reason. Yesterday, a major match was set up for the upcoming Money in the Bank pay per view as Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax challenged Ronda Rousey for a title match. The match was set up immediately and was made official later that day. This was a bit of a surprise as Rousey was supposed to have been brought along slowly but is already receiving a title shot. Now though we know what the reason might be behind the match being announced.
The reason for this.
Asked about the Ronda Rousey v Nia Jax rumors happening at MITB & not SummerSlam… Was told, “if they are true, it’s because they can’t ignore Rousey for another PPV, don’t want her in the ladder match, & can’t have her lose a qualifying match so they had no choice.”

Opinion: I mean….how can you not shake your head at this? WWE is supposed to be the highest level of wrestling in the world and they really can’t come up with something to get themselves out of this? It’s asking too much to be creative and put something together for a story that isn’t for the title or related to the ladder match? Someone can’t jump Rousey from behind or say something to make Rousey want to beat her up to get a match ready? You know: basic wrestling booking? That’s too much to ask? I have a really hard time accepting that.
