The Download Festival Will Kick Off The U.K. Championship Tournament

WWE has confirmed via their official website that the Download Festival in Derby, U.K. will kick off the U.K. Championship Tournament to take place later that month.

From June 8-10, NXT Superstars will be competing alongside rock artists at the Download Festival. This will take place in Donington Park in Derby, U.K.

During the Download Festival, several Superstars will compete in first-round matches for the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament. This will ultimately earn the winners a place to compete at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday, June 18.

WWE are intending to reveal competitors for the tournament on Wednesday and Friday. Follow Wrestling Rumors to stay updated on which Superstars are competing in the tournament.

The winner of the tournament will face Pete Dunne on Tuesday, June 19 for the Championship in what we imagine will be a tremendous, memorable match.
