As explained in an article on Forbes, CM Punk has been absent from the wrestling industry since 2014. Now, with “All In” set to take place, could he return to the ring?

All In is set to take place in Chicago on the first day of September. The day prior, Punk has already been confirmed to appear in his hometown to sign autographs on behalf of the All In event at the Pro Wrestling Tees store.

After months of speculation and messages from The Young Bucks and Cody [Rhodes] in regards to Punk joining them for the show, we now have word that in some capacity he will be involved.

The question now is, is Punk ‘All In’ for All In? Will he compete or appear at the actual show? Well, as Alfred Konuwa of Forbes writes, that is actually a distinct possibility.

The 39-year-old UFC welterweight fighter has said in his past that his issues with WWE have caused him to lose his passion for wrestling and the business itself. As such, he has been open in saying that if he ever made a return to the ring, it would be elsewhere.

With All In booked in the place he resides and a fully-booked, expansive show such as that, Punk is likely to return to the ring in some capacity and will figuratively stick it to ‘The Man’ in WWE.

Further evidence of this is the way The Bullet Club have gone about promoting Punk’s appearance. They haven’t confirmed he is appearing on the show itself, ignoring comments from fans on social media asking for confirmation. This is likely so Punk can make a ‘surprise’ appearance for the show, despite many having the belief that he will appear.

Do you think Punk will appear at All In? Do you want to see him in the squared circle again?
