That’s some high praise. There are very few wrestlers in history on the same level as John Cena. He has become one of the real legends of WWE and that is the kind of thing that you don’t get to see very often in wrestling. No one in WWE history has more World Titles than he has and he is the kind of person who makes an impact every time he’s around. That will be the case again for WrestleMania season and this time he has something special going on.

We are less than eight weeks away from WrestleMania 36 and Cena has been announced as making his return to WWE on the February 28 edition of SmackDown. It would make sense to assume that Cena is going to be starting his road to WrestleMania that night and that could be a big deal. Cena has not wrestled at WrestleMania since WrestleMania 34 when he lost to Undertaker in about two minutes. That wasn’t the best moment in the world for Cena, but maybe next time can go better, if he wants it to.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Cena is being allowed to pick what he wants to do at WrestleMania 36. At the moment, it is not clear what he is going to be doing, but given how early he is coming back, it would seem likely that Cena will be wrestling on the show. This will be Cena’s first appearance on a WWE show since the July 22, 2019 Monday Night Raw. His most recent match took place took place on the January 14, 2019 Monday night Raw.

Cena has some rust to shake off. Check out some of his more recent efforts:

Opinion: Really, Cena is the kind of legend who should be allowed to do whatever he wants at the biggest show of the year and there is nothing wrong with that. He can do whatever he wants at this point and having him out there against anyone is going to make them a bigger deal. Cena is not going to be around very often so having him in the ring is the best thing that WWE can do at the moment. Just don’t waste it.
