That’s encouraging. You never know where you might see someone be put on the shelf for a long time. It is the kind of thing that can happen at the drop of a hat and that can be scary. Some injuries are going to be a lot worse than others, which is always the case. An injury can stop someone cold and unfortunately it can put someone on the shelf for a long or short time. The return is interesting though and we might be coming up on one.

There are very few wrestlers with a combination of as much natural skill and charisma as Jeff Hardy. He has been around for about twenty five years now and that is the kind of career that almost no one has. Hardy has won a lot of titles but he has also had a lot of issues over the years, both with substance abuse and injuries. He is currently on the shelf, but that might be changing soon.

According to PWInsider.com, Hardy will be heading back to the Performance Center next week to check the progress of his knee injury. Hardy has been out of action since May, with the injury forcing he and his brother Matt to vacate the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. There is no word on when Hardy would be returning to the ring, but it would likely not be until after his upcoming court date on April 6 in relation to an October 2019 DWI.

Hardy can do a lot when he is healthy. Check out some of his bigger moments:

Opinion: This is a weird situation as Hardy is not going to be around much longer due to his age, but it is nice to see that he is getting better. The problem for him always comes down to his substance abuse issues though, as he isn’t going to be sticking around if he can’t stay clean. I’d love to have him around for a longer stretch, but if that isn’t out of the way, he’s always going to be on borrowed time.

What do you expect from Hardy? When will he retire? Let us know in the comments below.
