There it is. We are less than three weeks away from Super ShowDown and that means the card needs to be set up in a hurry. A lot of fans aren’t going to be thrilled with WWE going back to Saudi Arabia and that is going to be the case every single time. Some fans are going to be annoyed because of all of the political situations, but also because of the card presented. Now we know a little more about what to expect.

One of the staples of the Saudi Arabian shows is a match for a trophy or a championship which is never mentioned before and is often (though not always) never mentioned after. It was a matter of time before we knew what would be taking place on the show. Odds are it would be for some unheard of prize and that was indeed the case, with the match being announced this week.

During this week’s Monday Night Raw, a gauntlet match was announced for Super ShowDown with the winner receiving the Tuwaiq Cup. There are currently six names announced for the match, including Andrade, Bobby Lashley, Eric Rowan, Rusev, AJ Styles and R-Truth. Andrade is currently suspended due to a Wellness Policy violation and Styles is currently out of action due to a shoulder injury. There is no word on if Styles will be medically cleared in time.

It’s a stacked lineup. Check out some of the participants in action:

Opinion: I’m not sure how this is going to go but I have a feeling the trophy isn’t going to mean much. Something tells me that this is going to be the match that eats up 40 minutes on a show that a lot of fans aren’t thrilled with seeing in the first place. That has never stopped WWE before though and I’m sure we’ll love getting to see midcarders fight for a meaningless trophy.

Who do you see winning the match? What will it mean for them? Let us know in the comments below.
