His endorsement can matter a lot. Wrestling fans have a lot of influence on what they get to see. If there is something that they just do not like, there is only so much disinterest that the company can take before they pull the plug on a story. However, it does not matter if the people in charge like what they are presenting. That seems to be the case with a current WWE story and nothing seems to be changing anytime soon.

Over the last few weeks, Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley have been involved in a love triangle on Monday Night Raw. This story has not been well received since it began, with the story being focused on Lana having an affair with Lashley and Rusev being left staring at them. Things have gotten a bit better for Rusev as of late, but it is still not exactly a popular story. Except for one specific person.

The story has had a lot of parts. This one seemed to move things forward:

According to Wrestlingnews.co, Vince McMahon was a big fan of this week’s segment on Monday Night Raw when Lashley and Lana were both arrested for yelling at and attacking police officers. The current plan is to continue the angle as it is currently drawing in especially strong numbers on YouTube. There is no word on how long the story will go, though local advertisements have suggested that the first match between the two will take place at Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

This is what kept things moving. Check out the segment McMahon enjoyed:

Opinion: While I haven’t disliked the story as much as some fans, I’m not exactly needing to see it keep going. Things have gotten better since Rusev started to fight back and stand up for himself, but it has still been going on for well over a month now with no particular end goal in sight. It could be worse, but the fans have not exactly seemed thrilled with what they have been seeing so far.
