So that’s what’s going on. Lars Sullivan is one of the most talked about names in wrestling at the moment but it isn’t for the best reasons in the world. Sullivan was found to have posted a long list of rather horrible things over the years with disturbing remarks about a variety of different people and groups. He has since been fined $100,000 by WWE, but now we might know a little more about the issue.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the main reason WWE fined Sullivan was due to pressure from a sponsor. Earlier this month, Mars Incorporated issued a statement saying that they were concerned about Sullivan’s statements and wanted something to be done. WWE felt that they needed to take some public action to take pressure off of themselves in the process. Sullivan will also be required to undergo sensitivity training.

Sullivan is still a monster. Check out what he did this week on SmackDown Live:

Opinion: You knew something like this was coming and while it could take a long time pay that money back, it’s probably better than Sullivan losing his job over the incident. That being said, I’m not sure if this is going to be the ending to the whole thing. Sure Sullivan is being punished and it is something substantial, but will that be enough to satisfy everyone? Right now, it isn’t clear and that could change very soon.

What do you think of Sullivan’s punishment? Will he keep his job permanently? Let us know in the comments below.
