It’s not ballet. Injuries are always going to be a part of wrestling. There’s no way to guarantee safety in a sport where things move at such a fast pace with very little time to stop. Something as simple as a slightly blown spot can lead to an injury and unfortunately that seems to be the case again.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Lince Dorado may have been injured during a match for this week’s “Main Event” tapings. During a match against Drew Gulak, Dorado landed on his knee during a tilt-a-whirl and seemed to come up hurt. There is no word on his status and how badly he may be injured remains to be seen.

Opinion: Hopefully this isn’t anything too serious. If nothing else there’s always a chance that this is a storyline as Gulak has been preaching the dangers of high flying wrestling, which would certainly be the case for someone like Dorado. While “Main Event” isn’t the most likely place to have storyline development, Curt Hawkins and Aleister Black’s recent match on “NXT” was a rematch from “Main Event”.
