Update on Who Will Face Brock Lesnar at WWE's July PPV

In just six days, we’ll see a fatal five way match between Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, and Samoa Joe, where the winner will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at July’s Great Balls of Fire show.

On Sunday’s Live Audio Wrestling podcast, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter said that, as of right now, the two favorites to win at this Sunday’s show are Finn Balor, which was teased last Monday night, and Seth Rollins.

“Well, the names I heard were Rollins and Balor. I don’t know which one, because Strowman is probably back for SummerSlam, so there’s only one guy and it’ll be the guy who wins that match and I see Rollins and Balor having the best shots of the guys that are in there.”

As previously mentioned, Balor vs. Lesnar was teased on last Monday’s Raw when Paul Heyman, who wasn’t advertised for the show, confronted Finn Balor in the ring. So, WWE wants you to believe that Balor is going to win on Sunday, and go on to challenge Lesnar in July.
