Have you noticed that WWE have had a lot of matches involving more than a single competitor or tag team? You wouldn’t be alone, because the audience has most definitely picked up on it.

According to WrestlingInc via Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling News Observer, booking is slow in the company right now as the creative team does not have any plans and is trying to fill in time by using more superstars.

It is expected, however, that plans will be picking up around July and August in preparation for ‘Summerslam,’ Until then, nothing major is expected to happen. This might come as a shock, with Jinder Mahal recently winning the WWE Championship and their being clear motive behind it.

In addition, Mike Bennett & Maria have both reportedly signed contracts and will be working ‘Smackdown Live’ but despite being backstage the past few weeks, creative have had no idea what to do with them. This may also be why New Day, Lana and Rusev have not yet made appearances on the actual show.

If any plans change or any more news does come out, Wrestling Rumors will bring it you the necessary information as soon as we learn of it.

Rusev demands a WWE Championship Match at Money in the Bank: SmackDown LIVE, April 25, 2017

Editor’s Note:

I would rather see some actual feuds, so I am hoping that creative get some ideas soon. It is a shame they haven’t done more, considering there is a whole team of intelligent writers there.
