Well imagine that. This is an important time of year for “Monday Night Raw” as the ratings are likely to give WWE a better idea of how well “Summerslam 2017” is going to be received. The numbers appear to have stabilized since their free falls over the summer but now they’re under a bit more pressure. How did this week’s show do?

Before we get to that, here are the ten biggest moments, in case you missed last night’s show.

Top 10 Raw moments: WWE Top 10, August 7, 2017

According to 411mania.com, the show did a 1.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.240 million viewers, both of which are up 2% over last week’s 1.03 rating and 3.163 million viewers. Those numbers are the highest rating since July 17 and the highest viewership since April 17. The show was headlined by a Last Man Standing match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

Opinion: I still think this is because of announcing matches in advance. The fans knew they were going to see a pay per view main event quality match on the show and they tuned in accordingly. The rest of the show was good enough to keep their interest and that helped drive the ratings up. It’s simple logic but something we don’t see often enough.
