You can’t keep a good thumb broken in half. Injuries happen to everyone in wrestling at one time or another. Sometimes these injuries can be worse than others but at the end of the day, all that really matters is how much time the injury is going to keep someone out of the ring. This time around, it’s a champion answering that question.

United States Champion Kevin Owens has announced that he has broken his right thumb. According to the same Tweet, Owens will not be missing any ring time as a result of the injury. At the moment, Owens is scheduled to be part of the Money in the Bank ladder match at “Money in the Bank 2017”.

Opinion: Leave it to Owens to name a broken bone. As long as it doesn’t keep him out of the ring it’s not like this is going to mean much. If I were Owens, I’d worry much more about losing three straight times and not having any mention of the US Title because it really seems to mean that little.
