Samoa Joe won last night’s fatal five way match, as he choked out Finn Balor to end the match, thus earning himself a shot at Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship.
Lesnar vs. Joe has been somewhat of a dream match for WWE fans ever since Joe arrived in the company via NXT two years ago. Well, now we’re finally getting it at next month’s Great Balls of Fire show.
Following Extreme Rules, Joe appeared on WWE Network’s Raw talk, where he discussed his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar.
“To Brock Lesnar… you start your training camp up right now. You climb those mountains, you carry those logs, you throw people around, you beat up every sparring partner that you can bring into your camp. And I can guarantee you you still won’t be prepared for what I do to you.”
