It finally looks like someone from the “new era” of WWE will grace the cover of this year’s WWE video game, as it’s been reported by Cageside Seats that the favorite to get the spot on the cover of WWE’s annual video game is former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

In recent years, the cover has featured either someone who has been established as a top guy for a while, for example Brock Lesnar and John Cena, or legends such as The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

We’re still a few weeks away from when WWE typically reveals who the 2K cover star is, so things can change between now and then. But, as previously mentioned, Seth Rollins is the current favorite to get that spot.
