Seems Another Injury Happened On SmackDown

But he’s got kids! It’s been a rough few weeks for Heath Slater. After losing the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to the Wyatt Family at Tables Ladders and Chairs, Slater and his partner Rhyno have been having issues, including teasing a breakup after the show was over. Now things seem to be getting even worse for Slater.

According to Slater’s Twitter account, he’ll be seeing his doctor tomorrow after suffering some sort of injury during a four way elimination tag match on SmackDown Live. Slater appeared to slip off the top rope before being superkicked for the first elimination of the match. There is no word on how severe the injury might be or if Slater could miss any time.

I certainly hope this isn’t anything severe as Slater has been one of the more entertaining acts on the roster in recent months. The I’VE GOT KIDS story was a great way to keep Slater around and made his run towards the titles all the more sympathetic. Slater hasn’t had the greatest success in WWE but he’s always good for a chuckle so keeping him on TV is a good thing for the fans.
