SmackDown is filling the space between pay-per-views with a pretty major show and what they’re calling the “Wild Card Finals.”

Three titles will be on the line tonight, but the matches aren’t the only major factor on the card.

No, folks, John Cena is finally returning from his mainstream media sabbatical just in time to kick off WrestleMania season.

According to a tweet from the Prototype, Cena will be the opening segment of SmackDown tonight.

No word on a match, but if one doesn’t happen tonight expect it to be announced for next week.

That “warm Chicago welcome” will likely involve more than a few choruses of “John Cena sucks” and maybe a CM Punk chant or two, but hey. It’s all in good fun, right?
