They’re closing out the year with a bang. As you saw this week on “Monday Night Raw”, WWE likes to have big matches on its last shows of the year. On Monday it was Roman Reigns defending the United States Title against Kevin Owens while on “Smackdown Live”, three different titles were on the line.

The blue show had a title change hands though as American Alpha won the Smackdown Tag Team Titles in a four way elimination match over the Usos, Heath Slater/Rhyno and the defending champions the Wyatt Family.

Chad Gable pinned Randy Orton for the final elimination after the Wyatt Family had some miscommunication.

This is the first main roster title for American Alpha.

This is what you need to do on a major show like this week’s Smackdown Live. If you put on all these matches that are supposed to be something special and then don’t actually do anything with them, the show doesn’t feel important. It’s the same mentality behind changing the Tag Team Titles at “Wrestlemania I” and it’s still the case here.

Do you think this is it for the new Wyatt Family? Who do you see challenging American Alpha for the belts first? Let us know in the comments below.
