Enjoy him while you can. Despite what it might seem like at times, no wrestler can stay in the ring forever. At some point they are going to have to hang up their boots and it is a rather sad sight at times. It can be even worse if the wrestler did not get to have a say in when their career came to an end. However, this time around, someone who did not initially get that chance might have another shot.
One of the most surprising stories over the last few years has been the return of Daniel Bryan. After missing over three years due to concussion issues and having his career seem like it was over, Bryan managed to get back in the ring and even rise to the top of SmackDown again by becoming WWE Champion. That was an amazing story, but like every other story, it has to have an ending.
During this week’s edition of Talking Smack, Bryan said that he felt he was on his last run as a full time WWE Superstar, which he said you can feel as he goes through his time in the company. Bryan, who is thirty nine years old, did not give a date or time when he felt his career would be coming to an end and did not say he would be completely done as a wrestler. This week saw Bryan wrestling his first match since the June 12 SmackDown as he took a hiatus from WWE over Coronavirus concerns.
It’s going to be sad when he leaves. Check out Bryan’s best moments in WWE:
Opinion: As Bryan said, you probably had to know that something like this was coming but the fact that Bryan is going to have more of a say over when he steps out of the ring this time is a huge boost. It is horrible to imagine someone’s career being taken away from them when they aren’t ready yet and thankfully Bryan is getting to decide when he is ready to leave instead of being taken out by something he can’t control.
