Backstage WWE Argument Settled Recently

At least it’s over. Wrestling is built on taking people with different personalities and putting them into situations to set up a match and hopefully draw money as a result. That is a tricky thing to do but if things go well, a promotion can put together more than a few nice options. Sometimes these feuds are a little more complicated than that though as they are also taking place behind the scenes, which was the case until recently.

WWE has something special in Riddle, as he is a rare combination of humor, in-ring abilities and natural charisma. It seems that the company has some plans for him, but there are some backstage issues that are slowing him down a bit. Riddle has rubbed a few people the wrong way and that can be a problem. One of those problems does seem to have been solved though.

According to Fightful Select, Riddle and Seth Rollins have made amends over their backstage issues. The two had problems stemming from Riddle’s wife making comments about Rollins’ fiance Becky Lynch’s physique, which led to Rollins not wanting anything to do with Riddle. They have since talked about things, with Riddle apologizing to smooth things over. Rollins is said to be open to working with Riddle in the future.

Opinion: That’s good to hear as WWE isn’t going to want its wrestlers arguing, especially two people who are a bit higher up the food chain like Rollins and Riddle. If nothing else, it is a good sign that Riddle, who does not have the best backstage reputation, is trying to make things better in this situation. Hopefully things stay calm, as Riddle could use a long stretch with no more drama or issues.
