Where has our monster gotten to? Kane has been in the WWE for a very long time, making his debut under another name over twenty three years ago. While a lot of fans would think that there’s not much left for him to do, Kane still has a role to play in WWE today. However, he hasn’t actually had a match on TV since November and hasn’t wrestled anywhere this year.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com, this has been due to Kane healing up a variety of injuries. This isn’t the most surprising news in the world as Kane turns fifty years old on April 26. Almost no one wrestles regularly at that age and the only other active performer near that age, the Undertaker, is in need of hip surgery as well.

I’ve always been a Kane fan but I don’t know how much longer he can possibly go in the ring. The injuries and age are just going to catch up with him no matter how great shape he’s in, just like they do to everyone. Kane is a monster who has lasted longer than almost anyone would have expected but at the end of the day, Father Time is undefeated against any and all athletes.

How much longer do you see Kane in WWE? When do you see him packing it in? Let us know in the comments below.
