Another phase of the war. The Wednesday Night Wars have turned into one of the more interesting stories of any given week in wrestling, as fans seem interested in finding out whether AEW Dynamite or NXT can draw in more viewers. That can create some interesting rivalries and very good wrestling. So far everything has worked out well enough, but now things might have gotten a bit more serious.

One of the biggest stories of the past few weeks has been a pair of Coronavirus outbreaks, with both WWE and AEW being affected. This is one of the scarier things that you can see under the current situation and it hit both companies almost at the same time. That is quite the impressive timing and it turns out that at least one side thinks there is a bit more to it than just a coincidence.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a belief in AEW that their outbreak was caused by its roster spending time with the NXT locker room. One of the exceptions to this theory is Lance Archer, who was exposed by someone associated with his family. There is no word on how many wrestlers total were infected or even exposed to someone who was infected. It is not clear if AEW has punished its wrestlers for what has happened.

Both shows are doing fairly well no matter what. Check out how things have been going as of late:

Opinion: I’m not sure how accurate something like this is, but it probably does not make either side very happy. NXT’s outbreak seemed to be a little bit more intense than AEW and if it spread to the other company, neither company is likely to be pleased. What matters most though is everyone being healthy, which at least seems to be the case for a lot of the people involved at the moment.

What do you think of the theory? Which show do you enjoy more? Let us know in the comments below.
