The empire expands. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world today but some of them are able to do some things that no one else can pull off. Some of them are able to do something unique that allows them to open some different doors, which can be incredibly valuable. That is the case with one current WWE star and now he and his wife are adding to their resumes.

There are a lot of fans who may not like him, but the Miz has become a rather long lasting WWE star. Not only has he won almost everything there is to win in WWE, he has served as an excellent representative for the company. He is able to dabble in Hollywood and entertainment, which is what he and his wife Maryse are going to be able to do in the near future.

The Miz appeared in the Virtual Equality Lounge and announced that he and Maryse are developing a new game show called Brawl In The Family. The two of them spoke about the idea and eventually put together the concept, which they pitched to Susan Levison, who is an executive at WWE Studios. There is no word on the format of the show or when it will debut. Miz recently finished hosting the first season of Cannonball, another competition series.

Miz and Maryse have done some great things on various shows. Check out the announcement (Miz’s appearance begins at about 30:30) and Miz and Maryse they can do together:

Opinion: I know there are a lot of people who aren’t big on the Miz, but he and Maryse are excellent on television together and the two are able to work on all kinds of shows over the years. Game shows are the kinds of things that can work very well under the right circumstances so maybe they can make something like this work. If nothing else, it’s another thing on Miz’s resume, which gives him quite the life outside of WWE whenever his in-ring career ends.
