WWE Releases Derrick Bateman and Briley Pierce

WWE has apparently come to terms with the releases over two NXT Superstars, Derrick Bateman and Briley Pierce. The two tweeted the following earlier today:

It is worth noting that Pierce is the real-life younger brother of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. Meanwhile, Bateman had spent time developing a new American gimmick for WWE before suffering an injury last year.

The releases have not been confirmed by the company at this time.
