Booker T Off TV Due to Injury

Former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T, was reportedly pulled off of television because of a tricep injury. Booker T, the current General Manager of Friday Night Smackdown, was removed from events in order to heal from a surgery done to help alleviate an elbow infection. Booker T apparently tore is tricep in a freak accident non-wrestling related, and is said to be healing well.

Booker’s absence is why Teddy Long was seen on the May 13th episode of RAW making matches and stipulations instead of Booker. Booker had been engaging in a feud with Teddy Long on Smackdown before leaving television tapings to heal. It is expected that Booker will return by the end of May, and their feud will continue.
