The Phenom to be honored in New Orleans?

According to reports by the Wrestling Observer, WWE is heavily considering the idea of inducting The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, just one night before WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans. The Phenom is a 7-time WWE World Champion, undefeated at WrestleMania in 21 matches, and obviously deserving of the honor.

Furthermore, WWE has already confirmed that Paul Bearer will be inducted in the Class of 2014, and the feeling has always been that The Undertaker would go into the Hall in the same year as his former mentor, friend and manager.

In recent years, the Hall of Fame has been a stepping stone to retirement for many legendary WWE Superstars, most notably Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. However, at this time there is no word on whether or not The Undertaker has plans to retire following WrestleMania XXX, but opponents being discussed for the event include Brock Lesnar and John Cena.
