Former World Heavyweight Champion Christian is rumored to be returning to action soon after May 19th’s Extreme Rules PPV. Christian has been off of WWE television since July 2012 to heal from an nagging shoulder injury. He’ s been medically cleared to return since December of 2012 and was rumored to be entering the Royal Rumble, but the WWE kept him off the active roster because they didn’t have a program for him to work at WrestleMania 29. WWE Creative is said to be working on an angle that would get him back on television very soon.

Christian’s last big storyline involvement was with The Miz, where he lost the Intercontinental Championship to him during the 1000th Episode of Monday Night Raw. Christian had only been back on television for a few months after returning from a previous injury. He has said that he wants to compete again full time and get his career to “Hall of Fame” caliber before he hangs up his boots. The good news for all of Christian’s “peeps,” is that he’ll be back on TV much sooner than later.
