NXT new comer Sami Zayn, former known in the Indy circuits as El Generico, is reportedly being told to slow down during his matches and perform less high spots. WWE officials are very high on Zayn, saying that he is a terrific talent in the ring and on the microphone, they just want him to slow down the pace of each match and perform less high spots per match as well. WWE officials have loved his high spots, but they feel that he does too many per match and should save some of them for special nights and events.

Anyone that followed Zayn’s career as El Generico, real name Rami Sebei, knows that his matches were very “luchador” based. They moved extremely fast and were filled with high risk maneuvers and crazy dives to the outside. He is not just a one trick pony however, and is also a very technically sound professional in the ring and can put on fantastic matches. It’s only a matter of time before Zayn is moved up to the WWE’s main roster, and it will be very exciting to see him work with guys like Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk.
