On and off again WWE Superstar Chris Jericho has taken to Twitter to confirm he will in fact be returning to the company next month. Jericho posted the following Thursday:

The 43-year-old last wrestled at “Night of Champions” in a losing effort against Randy Orton. The match was heralded, however, as one of the best of the night. He would return to his band FOZZY to resume touring. He recently noted he was supposed to be facing Seth Rollins at the event, though Vince McMahon changed his mind.

It had been rumored Jericho would make his return on the November European tour and possibly appear on “Smackdown,” and this now appears to be true. The extent of his return has not been fully announced, however.

The first ever Undisputed Champion had teased he’d making a return “sooner” than people were expecting him to, and this appears now to confirm this.

Editor’s Note

As long as Jericho is utilized properly, he is a major asset for the company. He delivers instant credibility.
