The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some details on how Randy Orton’s new part-time deal will affect WWE’s Fall European tour. As previously reported, Orton has signed a new agreement with WWE which states he is no longer a full-time competitor on the road, and he’ll only be required to work limited WWE Live Events.

Orton’s new status within WWE gives him a break in November during the company’s two-week long tour of Europe. “The Viper” was originally booked as one of the superstars that would be appearing during the entire Live Event tour, but now will only be appearing during the first week of shows.

There will be one set of superstars appearing at one venue, while another set appears somewhere else each night during the tour. Orton will be working with the “Dean Ambrose” group of superstars during his stint overseas, main eventing each night with Ambrose himself. John Cena and Seth Rollins will be headlining shows put on by the other group of talent throughout the entire tour. When Orton leaves following the first week, Kane will step in to main event with Ambrose each night.

Along with Orton and Ambrose in the “non-Cena group” are Chris Jericho, will also be facing Bray Wyatt during the tour, The Miz, and Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler.

Editor’s Note:
Ambrose being billed as the top face for an overseas tour? I’m anxious to see how well they sell tickets this Fall.
