The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Paul Heyman is being kept off TV due to Brock Lesnar’s absence. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has not appeared on WWE television since before “Night Of Champions,” and is not currently booked for any WWE events until the 2015 “Royal Rumble” on Jan. 25.

The report claims that Heyman is now also being kept off of WWE programming. Heyman’s removal from WWE TV by company officials is being done so that fans are not being constantly reminded that his client, the current WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World, is nowhere to be seen.

Heyman did appear during the Sept. 29 edition of “Monday Night Raw” to ask The Authority whether or not they had anything to do with Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank cash-in attempt and attack of Lesnar, but has not appeared on any televised product since. The “One Behind the One in Twenty-One and One” did appear during the tapings for the upcoming 15 anniversary “Smackdown” special, which will air on Oct. 10, but the segment featuring Heyman was shot dark, meaning off of the portion of the show that will be seen on TV.

Heyman may make sporadic appearances here and there, but if these reports are true, one of the true artists of the stick (microphone) in professional wrestling may not appear on WWE television again until The Beast Incarnate, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, returns.

Editor’s Note:
So…fans know Brock isn’t going to be on TV. He’s been a here-and-there superstar since he returned in 2012. Heyman, albeit his manager, has remained on TV since then, though. WHY are they just NOW going to be keeping Heyman off television because Brock’s gone? Because he’s the champion? SO ridiculous. Heyman would never have been attached to Cesaro, Ryback, Punk, or Curtis Axel had this been the previous logic. #WASTE

Just goes to show that Lesnar should have lost the title at “Night Of Champions” with all this bull crap going on. No champion on TV or PPV for 3 months? What were you thinking WWE?
