We always love stories of those little extras fans in the arena get to see that don’t make it to TV. This week’s SmackDown ended in controversial fashion, so what did WWE do to send the fans home happy?

Naturally, they brought out the Miz. He made fun of the local crowd, before enjoying a little anniversary dance with his wife Maryse. Of course, the crowd was less than enchanted.

Enter Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, who come down to the ring to prevent this display of heelish romance from going down. Words are exchanged, and Wyatt uses the Sister Abigail to set Miz up for Orton’s RKO. One “outta nowhere” move later, the crowd delights in Miz’s misfortune.

In case you’re wondering why SmackDown’s post-show looks like Raw here, it’s because the set was dressed for a bit of additional filming for the Paige biopic. You probably already heard about Monday night’s filming, and the comments about CM Punk which got the Rock in some hot water.

Certainly seems to have been a fun time in California. What are your thoughts on the end of the show? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook!
