Well that happened. The big draw for this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” was a ten man battle royal to establish a new #1 contender after Randy Orton decided to not face Bray Wyatt for the Smackdown World Title at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. The match took place but we don’t quite have the problem resolved just yet.

In a somewhat confusing ending, Luke Harper suplexed AJ Styles over the top for the final elimination but the referees said that the two of them hit the floor at the same time. General Manager Daniel Bryan came out and said that the two of them hit the ground at the same time. The match officially ended in a draw and a winner will be determined next week. You can read the full results here.

Opinion: I’m really not sure what to think on this one. Watching the match live, the ending wasn’t even close as it looked like Harper’s feet were either on the apron or the steps while Styles was on the floor. I don’t see how you can try to spin this as a draw but if Harper winds up getting the title shot free and clear next week, everything will be fine.
