There was no stopping her then. As you probably know by now, Bayley defeated Charlotte to win the Raw Women’s Title on the February 13, 2017 episode of “Monday Night Raw”. This might have felt a little sudden and it turns out that there’s a reason for that to be the case. It just so happens that there were some other plans for the title change.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of Wrestlinginc.com, the original plans called for Bayley to defeat Charlotte for the title at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” in Orlando, Florida and then defend the title in her hometown of San Jose, California at “Payback 2017”. Now the plans seem to call for the title to be defended in a four way at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” with Bayley, Charlotte, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.

Opinion: I still don’t get the point in having Bayley win the title so soon and it would have made much better sense to have her get the belt either at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” in the town where she became a star in the first place or in her hometown. Either way I hope we don’t have to sit through Charlotte getting another title win and then losing it again just another month later.
