Daniel Bryan Has Questions Regarding AJ Styles’ Crackpot Theories

Last night, it seems AJ Styles joined the illustrious ranks of celebrities like Kyrie Irving and Tila Tequila by questioning what–to most eyes–is objective fact.

AJ came on Talking Smack upset about the outcome of SmackDown’s battle royal to determine a new number one contender, suggesting that GM Daniel Bryan wasn’t thinking quickly enough to come up with a suitable solution for the controversial finish.

To that accusation about mental acuity, Bryan asked AJ “Do you want to talk about how the Earth is flat?”

“I do not think the world is flat, I’m just saying there’s some stuff about it.”

AJ says he’s “not” a flat-earther, but “I’m just saying there’s some things about it that make sense. I don’t think you can handle it.”

You can see the start of the argument in the clip below, though WWE is electing not to promote the more questionable assertions on social media.

As AJ knows, the truth is out there. And that truth is that the Earth is a sphere.

I can only hope that this is a weird direction for AJ to attempt to actually get some heel heat. He has been cheered far more than a bad guy ought to be lately.
