7/12 Smackdown *Spoilers*

This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown was taped at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA. The show will air in the US on Friday.

WWE SmackDown

– A “Money in the Bank” briefcase hangs high above the ring.

(1) Daniel Bryan def. Christian via Submission. Bryan gets the win with the Yes Lock.

– It is announced that Sheamus will face Randy Orton in the main event.

– Teddy Long gives Dolph Ziggler the night off backstage. Ziggler tells Long that he will be the next World Heavyweight Champion.

(2) Seth Rollins def. Jey Uso. – Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns are at ringside to support their partners. Rollins gets the pinfall over Uso. The Shield then celebrate on top of the announcers table.

(3) Chris Jericho def. Curtis Axel via Count-Out. Axel loses his mind after the match and proceeds to tear stuff up at ringside. Paul Heyman unsuccessfully tries to calm him down.

(4) Ryback def. The Miz. Ryback feigns a knee injury, then hits the Meathook clothesline on The Miz for the victory.

– Backstage interview with Sheamus. He says he will win Money in the Bank contract to cash in and become a three-time WWE Champion.

– Teddy Long is out for a contract signing with a slue of Divas with him. AJ Lee and Big E Langston then made their way to the ring, followed by Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and AJ trade insults, then sign their contract for the Divas Championship match at Money In The Bank. AJ then shares texts from Kaitlyn that incriminate Natalya and The Great Khali. A brawl ensues, with. Kaitlyn spearing AJ to end the segment.

(5) Fandango def. Wade Barrett. Zeb Colter, Antonio Cesaro, Jack Swagger, Damien Sandow, and Cody Rhodes are at ringside. Fandango wins with a quick roll-up as everyone else argues.

– The Wyatt Family cut a promo in the ring. Bray Wyatt shows footage from RAW as he talks about taking out Kane.

(6) Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara ends in a No Contest. The match never even begins, as Dolph Ziggler is revealed to be dressed as Sin Cara and proceeds to beat Del Rio senseless.

– Vickie Guerrero hits the stage to great heat. Teddy Long interrupts her and has security escort her out of the building. Fans sing “hey, hey, hey, Goodbye” to her as she leaves.

– Teddy Long stops Dolph Ziggler backstage and confronts him about the attack on Del Rio. Then Sin Cara is shown walking around backstage, making it appear that maybe it was Cara who attacked Del Rio after all.

(7) Sheamus vs. Randy Orton ends in a No Contest. Daniel Bryan and Christian interfere with the match when Sheamus and Orton hit the outside of the ring. Christian sets up a ladder in the middle of the ring, then he and Sheamus brawl on the ladder. Orton then recovers and hits a RKO on Bryan. Orton then climbs the ladder and retrieves the briefcase, which ends the show.
