What is the boss really like? For many years, Vince McMahon has been synonymous with the world of professional wrestling. He has made a global empire out of World Wrestling Entertainment, but people have often wondered what his story is and how he got to where he is today.

All of that might be changing.

On today’s Third Quarter Earnings call, WWE announced that it was partnering with Netflix to create a multi-series documentary on the Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon. According to a report from F4WOnline, the deal is said to be “groundbreaking” and will be one of the highest budgeted documentaries in Netflix history.

It is unknown when the documentary series will be released.

Bill Simmons, who founded The Ringer and co-created ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary series, will be an executive producer, per Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT.

This is awesome and I can’t wait to see it. Knowing the production value of both WWE and Netflix, this has the potential to be a series that will have folks outside of the wrestling world in awe of what this man has done for the world of sports entertainment over the past few decades!
