Update On Del Rio’s Ninja Turtle Backstage Brawl

 

It had been previously reported that former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio was involved in a physical altercation backstage at a recent IWRG wrestling show. Supposedly, he was involved in a brawl with a character named Ninja Turtle Rafy.

Del Rio took to Twitter today to give his side of the story has to what happened. It would seem that Rafy became physical with Del Rio’s girlfriend, Paige, in front of him.

Ever since his departure from WWE in September of this year, Del Rio has been involved in several projects. He recently became president of an MMA promotion, and has also opened his own Mexican food restaurant in San Antonio, Texas.

As for Paige, her recent wellness policy violation ended last week, although she is still out of action due to having to have neck surgery. It is unknown at this time when, and if, she will return to a WWE ring.

This is starting to make a little more sense. Although only the witnesses will know just how inappropriate the touching was, if it was indeed crossing the line, then Del Rio had every right to kick the ninja turtle’s ass.
