I’m surprised it took them this long. Via their Twitter page, WWE has announced that Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann will defend his title against TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick in a triple threat match at “Roadblock: End of the Line.” Swann defeated Kendrick for the title on the debut episode of “205 Live” on November 29, 2016.

This match was set up during the most recent episode of “205 Live” when Perkins was on commentary as Swann defended his newly won title against Kendrick. Perkins and Kendrick collided during the match, followed by Swann and Perkins getting into a fight of their own to end the show.

You had to know WWE would book a triple threat match for the title almost as soon as possible. I’m fine with these three going at it as they’ve actually set up a story for them instead of just throwing something out there for the sake of throwing it out there. The match should be fun and as long as Swann wins, everything will be perfectly fine. Perkins and Kendrick have had their chances to bore the audience so let the popular guy in there instead.

How have you liked the cruiserweights so far? Do you think Swann is a good choice for champion? Let us know in the comments below.
