They’re coming home. In what isn’t the biggest surprise in the world, WWE has officially announced NXT “Takeover: Orlando”, airing over “Wrestlemania XXXIII” weekend. The show will be taking place on Saturday, April 1, 2017, less than twenty four hours before “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. This is a change of pace as this year’s “Takeover: Dallas” aired Friday night instead of Saturday at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

This also continues the trend of tying NXT and their Takeover series in with the Big Four pay per views. With the announcement of “Takeover: San Antonio” airing on Royal Rumble weekend, all four of these shows now have Takeovers tied in with them. These are among the biggest NXT shows of the year and there’s a good chance this will be the final show for some NXT talents.

If there’s one constant in WWE, it’s the fact that Takeover is almost always going to be one of the best shows of the year. “Takeover: Dallas” was a blast with the instant classic between American Alpha and the Revival plus the Match of the Year candidate of Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn. I can’t imagine Orlando’s show will be anything less.

What is your favorite Takeover special? Who do you think will make their debut or final appearance at the show? Let us know in the comments below.
