Who says that the oldest ideas can’t be the best ones?

Tonight on “Monday Night Raw,” it was announced that Sami Zayn will finally have his opportunity to prove what he can do, as he will go one-on-one with Braun Strowman this Sunday at “Roadblock: End of the Line.” However, this match features a stipulation that has not been used in a long time.

This contest will have a 10-minute time limit.

For weeks, Strowman and Zayn have been at odds, and tonight, the “underdog from the underground” had enough. He demanded that General Manager Mick Foley give him a match with Strowman, or trade him to “Smackdown Live.” Foley refused to give him the match and therefore said that he would get on the phone with Daniel Bryan to see if a deal could be worked out.

Later in the show, after Zayn defeated Jinder Mahal, Foley returned and said that he would, in fact, trade him to “Smackdown Live” for a talent of equal value. That talent? Eva Marie.

This sent Zayn into an absolute rage, and showed Foley that Zayn was capable of having the anger and determination necessary to take down a mammoth such as Strowman. Foley would then set up the match for this Sunday.

Editor’s Note:

I, for one, am very much looking forward to this match. Both Zayn and Strowman have been very impressive as of late, and this should give each superstar an opportunity to show what he can do.
