This coming Sunday, WWE will present its annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view. However, it will be the most unique in history as both the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank matches will take place at Titan Towers and will occur at the same time.

According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Money in the Bank match was actually taped during the week of April 13. Also, it was previously reported that the matches will be running throughout the show, and will be shown in between the matches that are taking place in the Performance Center.

As was shown on Raw, Apollo Crews suffered an injury after qualifying for the Money in the Bank, causing AJ Styles to return and take his place after winning a gauntlet match. The newsletter states that this was always the plan and that Crews’ injury is part of a storyline.

Check out Styles’ return to Raw this past week:

Editor’s Opinion:

I would think that they would have taped this in advance so that there would be time to edit it and figure out how it would work within the context of the show. Either way, if it’s anything like the produced matches at Wrestlemania this year, then this is going to be an outstanding show and I can’t wait to see it!
