On Wednesday morning, Sam Roberts — who co-hosts Sirius XM’s Jim Norton and Sam Roberts — announced that he will be joining Renee Young and Booker T on the Roadblock pre-show.
Roberts, who has been an avid WWE supporter for his entire life, said the following about his upcoming co-hosting gig on his official Facebook page:
“Couldn’t be happier to announce that this Sunday I will be a part of the pre-show panel for WWE RoadBlock live on the WWE Network. I don’t exaggerate when I say this is a dream come true. I can’t wait to work with Renee Young, Booker T, and everyone else on the panel, and am so thankful to everyone inside and outside WWE for helping to make this happen. I’m also thankful for all of my friends and family who trusted that the HOURS of the days, months, and years, of my life spent watching WWE could amount to something amazing. Can’t wait for Sunday.”
Roberts is following in the footsteps of fellow morning radio show host Peter Rosenberg, who co-hosted the pre-show for WWE’s TLC pay-per-view two weeks ago.
WWE fans will probably recognize Roberts from the interview that he did with Brock Lesnar over SummerSlam weekend, where The Beast was visibly annoyed.

It was recently reported that WWE decided to release Jerry “The King” Lawler, and Amy “Lita” Dumas, both of which were regulars on their pay-per-view pre and post-shows. So, Roberts will be filling the shoes of two WWE Hall of Famers.
