The Wyatt Family has been one of WWE’s most popular factions since they debuted on the main roster back in the summer of 2013. They’ve gone through many incarnations, and their most recent member, Randy Orton, may be the strangest addition yet to the family.
On paper, Orton joining The Wyatt Family doesn’t make any sense. But, it’s actually worked out quite well. Of course, we all know that it’ll eventually lead to Orton turning on the faction’s leader — Bray Wyatt.
During a recent interview with WTOP’s Chris Cichon, Bray Wyatt was asked about Randy Orton’s role in The Wyatt Family, and who he’d like to see be the next member of the popular group, and his answer may surprise you.
“There are a lot of guys I could see standing with over the years. Big Show has a beautiful beard right now, I’ve been thinking about recruiting him. What could be better than just having a giant on the leash?”
Big Show has made his return to WWE television last week, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be around very often. In fact, he’s pretty much said that he may not be wrestling for very much longer. But, putting him in The Wyatt Family may breathe some life into his character, and extend his career.
For now though, it looks like the world’s largest athlete is headed towards a match with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal at WrestleMania 33. What’ll be next for him after that? No one really knows. His match with Shaq may end up being the final match of his career.
