The last we heard about Finn Balor’s recovery from shoulder surgery, he was doing extremely well and making excellent progress. Regardless of the positive adverb that is used, a recovery from this injury can’t be rushed not matter how well he’s progressing.

Whenever he is ready to return to the ring, there is no doubt that the WWE officials will pull the trigger. However, that doesn’t stop the rumor mill from speculating or the fans from hoping that Balor will be back as soon as possible.

After it was revealed that Finn’s injury would likely take up to six months to recover from, the WWE Universe calculated that he’d definitely be back for Wrestlemania, but the hope is that he can make a surprise appearance in the “Royal Rumble” match.

According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, it looks like there could be some hope that Finn Balor makes his return to WWE programming during the “Royal Rumble” PPV, but that is still very much up in the air as of this writing.

It’s only early November, which means there is at least two more months of recovery before Balor has a realistic shot of getting back into the ring. However, the rumors are going to keep coming on his recovery, so stay tuned in early 2017 for breaking news.
