The backstage fight between Sin Cara and Chris Jericho happened like it happened and it appeared to be over. Frankly, these things happen sometimes with big personalities getting mixed up, and they usually can be handled internally by the locker room.

However, WWE officials have sent out a punishment to Sin Cara that he must attend anger management classes, but that is also due to the fact that he’s been in more fights than the one with Jericho. Apparently, there is cause for more punishment against him.

According to a report from Wrestlezone, there was some talk of pulling Sin Cara from the European tour completely, but that didn’t come to pass. At the last second, WWE officials made the decision to “exile” him onto the SmackDown portion of the tour.

By their logic, it was better than leaving him from the tour completely, especially after pulling Roman Reigns due to family commitments. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t seem his punishment will extend much further than the tour.

No offense to him, but Sin Cara’s momentum hasn’t been exactly high of late, so getting into fights backstage isn’t the best way to get more television time.
