Paige Makes Appearance at Independent Event

I can’t imagine this is going to go down well. According to PWinsider.com by way of 411mania.com, Paige appeared at tonight’s Jersey All Pro Wrestling event in Rahway, New Jersey. Paige’s fiance Alberto El Patron was on the card, though Paige only came out to watch a women’s match and then left. She was acknowledged by the event’s ring announcer.

 

Paige is in the midst of a very complicated situation with WWE as she has been suspended twice in a row for Wellness Policy violations and seems desperate to get out of her WWE contract. At the moment she is still signed to the company, though El Patron has been gone for several months now.

Other than stubbornness or to show who has the real power, is there any reason for WWE to not just let Paige go? I can’t imagine her ever stepping foot inside a WWE ring again and it’s fairly clear that she’s trying to get herself released due to stringing together Wellness violations. Just let her run around with El Patron and be done with it.
