For Monday night’s Raw Reunion, many WWE Superstars of the past made their returns to WWE programming. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Madusa and others had an opportunity to be back inside a WWE ring and have fun with the WWE Universe. Unfortunately for many, the Bella Twins were invited to the show but declined the invitation to appear.

Nikki and Brie Bella have both officially retired from the active competition and are exploring new avenues in their careers. However, the WWE Universe is wondering why the dynamic duo turned down the chance to return to the company for just one night.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Bella Twins had prior obligations and couldn’t make the show. It’s not clear if those commitments were professional or personal, but it seems the duo was busy rather than not wanting to show up for Raw.

The Bella Twins have mostly been out of the news as of late. With their careers in the books, Brie Bella is tending to her family and other ventures. Meanwhile, Nikki Bella is still receiving a lot of attention from fans for her relationship with Artem Chigvintsev.

Naturally, a lot of the WWE Universe would prefer if The Bella Twins stayed away from WWE programming. It’s unclear when or if Brie and Nikki will return to WWE for a cup of coffee, but a WWE Hall of Fame induction is only a matter of time for the sisters.

The power of the “Bella Brand” can’t be denied and their importance to WWE history is also without doubt. Some distance may give the WWE Universe some time to cut them some slack, but the truth is that The Bella Twins are always welcome to say hi on Raw.

Do you think The Bella Twins deserve a WWE Hall of Fame induction?
