1. WWE is Being Forced to Push New Faces

Dolph Ziggler Britney Spears

The breaking news from today is that before Randy Orton got injured, WWE plans were for him, Reigns, Kane, and Dean Ambrose to be top babyfaces while Cena takes his time off. The expectation with Orton’s injury is there will be big pushes for Ryback or Dolph Ziggler based on the depth of the WWE roster.

Tyler Breeze has debuted, so the midcard has a little more depth, and Kevin Owens is Intercontinental Champion. Based on the latest news, it’s not crazy to think that a guy like Ambrose, Ryback or Ziggler will win the United States Championship this Sunday against John Cena.

WWE is being forced to push guys they weren’t planning to bring to the forefront. The truth is no one knows who WWE will select for a push to become a top babyface. Suddenly, Orton’s injury sets up a spot for Cesaro to capitalize, or Ziggler to get out of his rut. WWE may do the cliche thing and push Ryback, but the opportunity is there to make some new stars and improve the WWE product. For active WWE talent, right now is the time to strike.
