2. WWE Can Call Up More NXT Talent

Finn-Balor

The greatest thing about NXT is the roster has so much depth that major players can be pulled out at any time to rejuvenate WWE’s product. NXT is a great brand with incredible talent, but it doesn’t have the exposure of Raw on the USA Network. All it takes is one big moment for an NXT star to become a WWE star. For example, just look at Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens or Charlotte.

NXT’s roster is full right now and WWE’s isn’t. There are wrestlers like Samoa Joe, Rhyno and James Storm doing good work for WWE developmental system, but those are veterans with a lot of experience that bring new things to the WWE roster. Orton and Jericho are two of the best WWE superstars of all time, but they’ve been in WWE forever.

Guys like Samoa Joe are fresh, yet familiar faces of the industry that haven’t had runs in WWE. Now, is the time for them to get the exposure they deserve. If WWE wants to go younger, Finn Balor is one of the hottest wrestlers in the world right now. It’s certainly possible for him to either fill in for a few months or even get called up to the main roster while Apollo Crews becomes NXT Champion. NXT stars may be the key to WWE flourishing over the next few months with key players away.
